All Practice Permits and all categories of CRDHA membership expire on October 31 each year. Annual Renewal for the 2017 CRDHA membership year will begin August 15, 2016.

Practicing dental hygiene in Alberta without registration or a valid Practice Permit is a violation of the Health Professions Act for which penalties can and will be imposed.
In accordance with section 38 of the Health Professions Act and section 7.7 of the CRDHA Bylaws, members on the General Register must submit a complete application for renewal of their Practice Permit, including evidence of current CPR certification and payment of fees, by October 31. Failure to renew will result in immediate suspension followed by cancellation.
In accordance with section 8.5 of the CRDHA Bylaws, Non-Practicing Members must submit a complete application for renewal of their membership, including fees, to the CRDHA office by October 31. Failure to renew will result in cancellation of membership.
